Indigo was born and for the most part raised in Appleton, Wis. She grew up attending Appleton Alliance Church, memorizing Bible verses at Awana, and developing a personalized faith in Student Ministries. After graduating from Appleton North High School in 2016, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and received a BA in Spanish and journalism. She worked meanwhile at AAC as the Global Connections intern as well as for Study Breaks Magazine as a writing intern.

Apart from her Appleton childhood, she also lived in Memphis, Tenn., when she was 3 years old. Then, when she was 8, she moved across the Atlantic with her parents and two sisters to small-town Stamullen, County Meath, Ireland for two years. Her young immersive experiences quickly opened her eyes to diversity and instilled an eternal love for the nations in her heart. Since then, she has traveled to 10 different countries and counting.

When she’s not exploring new places, though, Indigo loves quoting “Friends,” sipping iced tea, editing travel content, and blogging on her travel Instagram.
