Our professionally trained and licensed counselors use the life-changing truths of God’s Word as the foundation of our Christ-centered approach to therapy. They will prayerfully evaluate, educate, and encourage you as you engage in your healing process, while protecting your confidentiality and respecting your dignity. In accordance with AAC’s complementarian view, male counselors serve men, women, couples, families, and children. Female counselors serve women and children only.
Your individual, marriage, or family counseling appointment can be made by calling the church office. Counseling fees will be discussed when you make your first appointment, and can be paid by cash, check, or credit card.
Every marriage faces difficulties along the way. Marriage Mentoring is a couple-to-couple program based on biblical principles and is designed to help strengthen and grow your marriage. Husband & wife volunteer Marriage Mentors are chosen for you with your needs in mind, so that you can effectively work together through the 10 session Dare To Be Different curriculum ($50 materials fee). Mentoring meetings are confidential, scheduled at a pace agreed upon by both couples, and are available to you whether your marriage is strong or struggling. Contact us below if you would like more information before filling out the Marriage Mentoring Request Application.
MARRIAGE MENTOR VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY FOR SPRING 2020
We are looking for additional married couples to serve as Marriage Mentors this spring, in anticipated response to the Spring Seminar Marriage Class. You and your spouse could qualify to be Marriage Mentors if:
- You are both approved AAC members
- You have been married 10 or more years to your current spouse
- You are both committed followers of Jesus
- Your marriage is currently healthy and growing
- You’re both willing to be transparent about your own marriage difficulties
- You have 3 personal references from other AAC attenders
If you sense God is calling you both toward this role together, please fill out the volunteer application. After checking your references, we will contact you to set up an in-person couple pre-screening. If approved, you will attend a training session from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on March 28 to equip you for serving couples in the future.
We provide professional biblical coaching and mediation services in child/parent/sibling relationships, workplace relationships, financial/business disputes and more. If you need support in reconciling and achieving peaceful relationships, this is a good place to start. Fill out the contact form below to get started.
We desire for marriages to thrive from the onset, which is why we require pre-marital counseling for those who wish to be married by one of our pastors. Our pre-marital counseling classes are led by trained volunteer facilitators through a chosen curriculum (minimal materials fee), or by a male licensed professional counselor (counseling fees apply). If you and your significant other are planning to get married and have attended AAC for 6 months or more, you are welcome to request an application by filling out the contact form below.
