WOMEN'S GROUPS

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

Community is so important to our growth and emotional health. We want you to be able to connect on your schedule so we will be using additional tools to keep groups in touch as much as possible during the semester. Stay tuned for more info.

NOTES: Fall studies start October 4 and run through December 10. All in-person studies will be socially distanced with masks. Online options are held via video conferencing.

CHILDCARE: It breaks our hearts, but we will NOT be able to provide childcare for in-person Bible Studies this fall. We know that it is a tremendous benefit for our moms of young children, but under the current circumstances, we are not able to safely staff and manage childcare this fall. We intend to offer it again in the future when the conditions are acceptable.

STUDY DESCRIPTIONS

The Gospel of Luke: Seeking the Lost

Do you feel lost in this environment? Well, Jesus came to SEEK THE LOST. Come and be found! During a season of uncertainty, there is nothing more comforting than studying the life and ministry of Jesus.

Since life is a bit hectic right now, we have planned flexible learning time. We will study the book of Luke directly from the Bible with reflection questions and optional opportunities to dig deeper. There are five days of planned personal study that should range from 15 to 30 minutes each. The average will be about 20 minutes. Do as much or as little as you can.

Boundaries: When to Say Yes, How to Say No to Take Control of Your Life

“People often focus so much on being loving and giving that they forget their own limits. Have you ever found yourself wondering: Can I say no and still be a loving person? How do I answer someone who wants my time, love, energy or money? How do I stand up to hurtful behavior or abuse? Why do I feel guilty when I consider setting boundaries?

In this award-winning New York Times bestselling book, Drs. Henry Cloud and John Townsend give you biblically based answers to these and other tough questions. They show you how to set healthy boundaries with your parents, spouse, children, friends, coworkers, social media, and even yourself.

Unpacking the ten laws of boundaries, Drs. Cloud and Townsend show you how to bring new happiness and healthy to your relationships. You’ll discover firsthand how sound boundaries give you the freedom to walk as the loving, giving, fulfilled individual God created you to be.” – from Boundaries
