The Gospel of Luke: Saving the Lost (Chapters 14 – 24)
It only takes five minutes of watching the news to feel overwhelmed by chaos. It’s clear that the world needs a Savior! The good news is that Luke 19:10 says that Jesus came to “seek and to save the lost.” As we study the second half of the book of Luke*, we will regain hope through the promises of God and rejoice in His plan for our lives and salvation. During a season of uncertainty, there is nothing more comforting than studying the life and ministry of Jesus.
Since life is a bit hectic right now, we have planned flexible learning time. We will study the book of Luke directly from the Bible with reflection questions and optional opportunities to dig deeper. There are five days of planned personal study that should range from 15 to 30 minutes each. The average will be about 20 minutes. Do as much or as little as you can.
*Taking Luke: Seeking the Lost (Chapters 1 – 13) is not required to sign-up for this study.
“Like a trusted friend, Susie Larson shares practical, scriptural ways to overcome whatever keeps us from living fully in God’s will. Susie will help you learn to:
- Discern the best use of your time and gifts
- Confidently pursue God’s unique desires for you
- Stretch your faith and deepen your impact
Respond today to that nudge in your spirit- that desire to use your gifts and passions more fully in God’s work. Lay down lesser commitments and lay hold of God’s beautiful purpose for your life.” – Your Beautiful Purpose
In Your Beautiful Purpose, radio host, speaker, and author Susie Larson, clarifies what it means to be called by God and to live out that calling. Each week, Susie shares about topics such as embracing purpose, trusting God, and walking by faith. At the end of each chapter, feel encouraged and challenged by study questions that you can discuss with your small group.
Becoming a mom is a major life transition involving new responsibilities of raising the next generation. We want to help you lay a healthy foundation so we offer mom and child catered programs that address important topics and also provide an opportunity to make new friends and find support.
Due to rising health concerns, mom&me has been reimagined to offer connection and content through our AAC mom&me Facebook group. We invite you to request to join the AAC mom&me Facebook group for activities, PRIZES, connection, and inspiration!
When it comes to touching hearts, few things do it as well as a story. Invite a friend and join other readers to discuss inspirational fiction. Join the group for fellowship and a shared interest in literature.
The Inspired Readers group meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Please contact Shari for more information.
