Lydia grew up in the small town of Wausaukee, WI, where she was very involved in attending and volunteering in both Children’s and Youth ministry at her home church as she grew out of each one. When she turned 16 she began volunteering and doing ministry for Wisconsin Rural Bible Crusade by teaching Vacation Bible School all summer, every summer. She graduated from Wisconsin Virtual Academy in 2015 and moved on to get a B.A. in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. With that goal, she spent the summer of 2018 as an intern at Calvary Bible Church in Neenah where she taught their high school youth group for the summer.

Lydia loves building relationships with youth and desires to be a role model they can respect and go to for encouragement. She desires to point them to Christ and help deepen their relationships with Him through every interaction they have with her at Greenhouse or in any other aspect of the Student Ministries at Appleton Alliance Church.

While working at AAC, Lydia is pursuing an M.A. in Ministry Leadership, and is excited to put what she learns into practice in ministry immediately.
