Amanda is from Kenosha, WI and moved to the Appleton area in June of 2020. Before joining the AAC Special Needs Ministry team, Amanda earned her undergrad in Psychology, worked as an operations manager at a bridal salon for 5 years, then completed her Masters of Art in Teaching degree. She student-taught Kindergarten and 4th Grade Special Education, and although she loved it, the Lord led her in another direction. She reached out to AAC for a volunteer opportunity, which turned into accepting the position as the Weekday Special Needs Ministry Coordinator. She couldn’t be happier to work in the field of building the Kingdom of God and helping students with special needs and their families feel welcomed and supported during their walk with Jesus. She is passionate about Jesus’ love and wants all individuals to be celebrated and valued as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.  In Amanda’s free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and her husband Boe. Amanda and Boe love spending time outdoors and tending to their vegetable garden. Amanda also enjoys reading and writing poetry.
