Offer Help

WI Face Mask Warriors

Appleton Alliance Church has joined forces with Wisconsin Face Mask Warriors, a 50-state network to supply face masks and other PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 Wisconsin Face Mask Warriors Group

How it works?

1. Reference the sewing patterns provided by WI Face Mask Warriors.

2. Purchase your supplies and get to work!

3. Drop-off completed masks at Appleton Alliance Church. You’ll find a drive-thru drop-off area at the West Entrance of the church.
Address: 2693 W. Grand Chute Blvd., Appleton
An additional collection site is located at 1718 Velp Avenue, Suite F, Green Bay

4. Tips for sewing face masks:
- Pre-wash your 100% cotton fabric
- Do not participate in sewing masks if you feel ill, have traveled abroad in the last 14 days, are living or have had contact with someone with COVID-19, or if you smoke.
- See more FAQs

5: Drop-off instructions:
- Group masks by style and size (adult or child).
- Put masks into a bag (Ziploc style preferred).
- Write on the bag the mask size, style, and quantity
- See more FAQs

IMPORTANT: Once you have dropped off your masks, contact Liz Benecke or GingerLee Hooley with date, time, location, number of masks, and location of drop off.
GingerLee Hooley  |  |  (920) 931-1115
(Porch Pick-up may be arranged for donations over 100 or elderly, high-risk, or disabled volunteers. Please only request this service if truly needed.)

Material Donations: You may also drop off extra fabric or materials for use by other members. Material needs and/or donations may be coordinated through the Facebook page, group coordinators, or between Facebook group members individually. Be sure to label bags with recipients name accordingly and follow standard safety procedures as you would for any online transaction. In addition, remember health safety: use hand sanitizer, wear gloves, proper hand washing, etc.

Before you get started, check out these FAQs, provided by Wisconsin Face Mask Warriors.
