We are excited that you have decided to attend the Appleton Alliance Women’s Retreat. We have many exciting things planned for you, which are listed below. Feel free to participate in all of them or only those that interest you most. Our hope is that this weekend will provide you with just what you need; whether that is rest, fellowship, late night talks with girlfriends, or spiritual renewal. We are glad that you have chosen to spend the weekend with us. Please take time to review the following information.

Arrival Times

Retreat begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, February 26 with the evening session. Resort check-in is at 4:00 p.m. Please do not arrive before this time as the Osthoff is unable to accommodate early arrivals.

Directions

  • Hwy CE (E. College Ave) or Hwy KK (E. Calumet St.) East to Hwy N. 
  • Turn right unto Hwy N South to Hwy 10.
  • Turn left unto Hwy 10 East.
  • In Forest Junction, turn right unto Hwy 32 South.
  • Continue on Hwy 32 through Hilbert, Chilton, New Holstein, and Kiel.
  • Outside of Kiel, turn right unto Hwy 67 South.
  • Continue on Hwy 67 to Elkhart Lake.
  • In Elkhart Lake turn right at the 4-way stop onto Rhine St.
  • Turn left onto Osthoff Ave.
The Osthoff  is approximately 48 miles from Appleton.  It is a one hour drive from the southeast side of Appleton and approximately 1 hour 20 minutes from the church.

Miscellaneous Information

  • Attire for the weekend is casual. 
  • Bring a Bible and a pen.
  • The Osthoff Resort’s phone number is 800-876-3399. If you would like more information about the resort, please click here.
  • Meals on Friday night and Saturday noon are NOT included in the cost of the retreat. The Osthoff Resort’s dining rooms will be open during these times. If you choose to make your own dinner and/or lunch in your room, all rooms have kitchenettes, except for the guest room option which has a small refrigerator and microwave.
  • Lunch prices at either Otto’s or Lola’s Restaurant (both at the Osthoff) range from $7 to $15. Dinner prices for Otto’s Restaurant range from $7 to $24 and Lola’s Restaurant range from $20 to $30.  Reservations for Friday evening dinner are encouraged. Call the resort’s number above and make sure to specify which restaurant you prefer.

  • If you are interested in using the resort’s Spa, please contact them directly at 877-772-2070 and book your appointment. Mention you are with Appleton Alliance Church for a 20% discount on all services. Feel free to book your appointment any time Friday, Saturday between 12:15 and 5:00 p.m. and Sunday after 12:00 p.m.
  • Our retreat will end at noon on Sunday.

Extending Your Stay At The Osthoff

If you would like to arrive on Thursday, February 25 or extend your stay until Monday, March 1, that option is available to you. The discounted room rates are listed below. You must register through the retreat and not with the Resort to get this special rate. Deadline is February 19, 2010.
