Overview
Appleton Alliance Church maintains three main funds for giving to Appleton Alliance Church:
General Fund
Operating expenses, including staff salaries, ministry expenses and facility maintenance.
Finish the Work Building Fund
Reduction of the debt on our new building so that we can begin construction of the remaining buildings on the church campus.
Missions (Great Commission Fund and AAC Missions)
All funds designated to missions are divided between Alliance denomination missions and Appleton Alliance Church missions. The Great Commission Fund provides full funding of Alliance missionaries around the world. AAC Missions provides partial funding to missionaries whose home church is AAC and who are associated with a non-Alliance missionary organization such as Campus Crusade for Christ, Navigators, TEAM and Lake Lundgren Bible Camp. It also provides partial funding for leaders of short term missions trips and activities with our Alliance partner churches, such as the Cono Norte Callao Alliance Church in Lima, Peru. Appleton Alliance also maintains a seperate Barnabas Benevolent Fund. Limited cash assistance is used from this fund to meet the needs of individuals and families within the church, in the Fox Cities, and among or overseas sister churches in the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Requests for Barnabas Fund assistance are reviewed by a committee of volunteers.
